Stuck? Or at a threshold?
Often when we feel stuck, we're really standing at a threshold. Approaches that used to work stopped resolving things—not because we've failed, but because the moment is asking for something that can't be scripted in advance.
Most of the people I work with are thoughtful, capable, and accomplished. They've spent years solving problems, carrying responsibility, and showing up for others. Yet, at some point, scripted ways of meeting challenges stop working. The harder they push, the less satisfying work and life become. The success they worked so hard for doesn't feel as meaningful as they expected. Relationships grow more complicated. Decisions take more energy. Truths go unspoken—or land too sharply.
It's rarely about what they're doing. It's about how they're being while they do it.
That's why pushing harder doesn't help: more effort, same way of being, same result.
There's far more to you, your life, and your work than you can see from where you're standing. You don't cross the threshold by trying harder or doing more. You cross it by meeting each moment as it is, growing your capacity to keep meeting it, and responding in real time—while fully honoring who you are.
That's what carries you over. And that's the work we do together.
“Christy combines heart and head with executive action and gentle mentorship.”
4 Ways to work together
Meeting the moment, at every scale
Coaching
For leaders and individuals at a frontier, where something new is ready to emerge and conventional approaches no longer reach.
Teaching & Training
For teams who need shared language and shared ground – the foundation from which genuine collective action becomes possible.
Facilitation
For groups where honest conversation has stalled–and where real alignment, not surface agreement, is what’s needed.
Strategic Planning
For organizations ready to align vision, leadership, and capacity–and build momentum that carries the organization forward.
How you cross the threshold
Cross the threshold by meeting each moment as it is — and growing your capacity to respond with clarity and compassion.
01
See what you’ve been swimming in.
There's a story running underneath the old patterns. Maybe it’s that success is achieved alone, by effort, and that more striving is always the answer. Whatever the story is, you've absorbed it so completely it just feels like reality. Naming it is where the work begins, because you can't step out of water you can't see.
02
Grow your capacity to meet the moment.
Seeing the story is the start. What carries you forward is capacity — the ability to stay present when things get uncomfortable, to feel the pull of the old fix without being run by it. It shapes how you meet whatever's in front of you and enables you to be shaped by it in return.
03
Lead with clarity and compassion.
When you respond to what's unfolding rather than a pre-scripted plan, something changes for everyone in the moment with you. A conversation met becomes a relationship that can hold more truth. A team whose hard moments keep getting met grows its own capacity to meet them. The work widens one met moment at a time.
“Christy’s guidance helped me reconnect with clarity, well-being,
and a larger sense of direction.”
You’re not a problem
to be solved
The qualities you've spent years trying to manage often hold some of your greatest gifts. My work isn't to fix you. The capability to meet a moment is already in you. I'm here to help you grow the capacity to use it, in the moments that matter most, with clarity and compassion.
How I can help
Something shifts when people stop trying to become someone else and begin growing into more of who they already are.
Work becomes more meaningful. Relationships become more honest. Leadership becomes more human. Decisions become clearer. The same person shows up at work, at home, and in the world. Less energy goes into managing appearances. More goes into making a contribution.
You meet hard moments without collapsing them into something to manage, and you respond with clarity and compassion. The people in those moments with you feel the difference, and the work widens from there: from you, to your relationships, to the teams and cultures you’re part of. Your contribution becomes more visible, more authentic, and more deeply felt.
“I stopped bracing against the hard conversations and started meeting them. The change showed up everywhere — at work and at home.”
